The GADC has received a donation for a new pier at Gordon Lake Beach. This donation is in memory of Carl Kubley. The GADC will attempt to secure the rest of the funding.
The Glidden Athletic Association is currently in the process of adding tower lights to the Matt Hart Athletic Field to accommodate night games and other events. The GADC is assisting with the planning and funding of this project.
The GADC has received permission from the Historical Society to add a mural to the North wall depicting logging through the years.
The Glidden Community Fair board is in the process of planning to move the concession stands into part of the exhibit hall to make room for upgrading the restrooms by the beer garden. The GADC will assist with the project.
The Town of Jacobs will be revamping the old restrooms/concession stand area to form new, more accessible restrooms for the park. The GADC will assist in the project.

The Township of Jacobs worked with the GADC and Ryan Thimm Handicap Reserve to improve the access into the pavilion for the handicap and elderly. The project was completed in 2017.

The Historical Log relocation project was completed in 2021, after a town clean-up day in 2020 convinced us to move it from its previous location. James “Smitty” Smith and Terry Lenz finished the structure that will protect the log for the foreseeable future.

The GADC has worked with the Town of Gordon to spearhead the new bathrooms/pavilion project at the Gordon Lake Beach. In the spring of 2024, this ADA-compliant building was ready for use and open to the public.
