The saw blades (about 11.5" diameter) are for those that own or have owned a logging-based business in one of the 4 townships of Gordon, Jacobs, Shanagolden, or Peeksville. Logging businesses include hand cutting and/or machine cutting, forwarding, and/or hauling of raw forest products.

The log ends (about 5.5" diameter) are for those that participated in the hand and/or machine cutting, forwarding, and/or hauling of raw forest products in one of the 4 townships of Gordon, Jacobs, Shanagolden, or Peeksville; even if they did not own their own business.

The GADC currently has 18 active members. Our board of directors is constructed of one person from each of the 4 townships that make up Glidden, and a 5th that is a member at large.
Our members and officers are 100% volunteer. All profits made from fundraisers go directly back into the community and supplies to keep the GADC running.

Here is the Comprehensive Outdoor Recreational Plan for Glidden, WI and the 4 townships that make it up. This plan allows each of the townships to apply for certain larger DNR grants for the next 5 years (2021-2025).
