The Ryan Thimm Handicap Reserve was formed in 2012 with the goal to help businesses and organizations of the four townships (Jacobs, Gordon, Shanagolden, and Peeksville) enhance, improve, or develop handicap accessibility to their facilities.
Since the start, the reserve has helped many local businesses as well as local parks and recreation areas.
Representing their lone fundraiser, the RTHR hosts their annual Walk-Run-Roll on the Saturday of Memorial Day Weekend. The event consists of a 5 mile run and a 2 mile walk-run-roll. Proceeds from this event go back into making the community more handicap accessible and elderly friendly.
